What we collect, why, who processes it, how long we keep it, and your choices.

Who we are

Rehbar Scientific & Research Solutions ("Rehbar", "we") is a research consulting and mentorship practice based in Lahore, Pakistan. We are responsible for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us through the enquiry form on our contact page.

What we collect

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send through the website, patient records, identifiable research participant data, passwords, university portal logins, ID numbers or confidential manuscripts.

  • Enquiry details you choose to give: name, email, country/time zone, the type of enquirer you are, service of interest, academic level, project summary, desired deliverable, deadline, budget range and preferred consultation method.
  • Records of our correspondence and, if you become a client, the project materials and invoices needed to deliver and account for the work.
  • If — and only if — you accept analytics cookies: pseudonymous usage data collected by Google Analytics (pages viewed, approximate location at country/city level, device type, and the events listed in our cookie policy).

Why we use it

We do not send marketing emails unless you separately opt in, and we never sell your data.

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a scope and quotation (steps you request before entering a contract).
  • To deliver agreed work and keep proper business records (contract and legal obligations).
  • To understand which pages are useful, only with your consent (analytics).

Who processes it for us

These providers may process data outside Pakistan. We use reputable providers and limit what we send them. Client project files are not uploaded to public AI services without the client’s written consent.

  • Google (Google Workspace / Gmail, Google Sheets and Apps Script) — receives and stores enquiries and correspondence.
  • Google Analytics — only after you accept analytics cookies.
  • Our website hosting provider — serves the website and keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become projects: deleted after 12 months.
  • Client project records and invoices: for the engagement and 3 years afterwards, unless the law requires longer or you ask us to delete material we are not required to keep.
  • Analytics data: according to the retention period set in Google Analytics (14 months).

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw analytics consent at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Contact us through the enquiry form on our contact page. If you are in the UK or EU you also have rights under the UK/EU GDPR, including the right to complain to your data-protection authority.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS and does not store enquiries in the browser or on the web server. Access to enquiry records is limited to the two owners.
