Our commitment
Rehbar exists to help people do better research — not to do it for them. This policy applies to every service, every team member and every external specialist we work with.
What we will do
- Coach you through research design, methods, analysis and presentation.
- Give written feedback on drafts you wrote.
- Edit language with tracked changes, without adding content or arguments.
- Analyse your legitimate data, explain the method and give you the code.
- Prepare figures and tables from your real data.
- Check that your citations exist and support your statements.
- Provide a statement describing the support you received, for your acknowledgements.
What we will not do
- Write assessed work — theses, dissertations, assignments, proposals or statements — on your behalf.
- Fabricate, falsify, selectively remove or "improve" data or images.
- Generate, invent or pad citations.
- Paraphrase text to evade plagiarism detection.
- Sell or arrange authorship, or promise publication.
- Guarantee degree completion, grades, admission or funding.
Your institution’s rules come first
Rules on external help and AI tools differ between institutions. At the start of every academic engagement we ask what your institution permits, and we follow the stricter of their rules and ours.
AI tools
We may use AI tools for internal drafting or summarising only where you agree, with a person reviewing every output, and with locally run models for confidential material. We never use AI to produce work you will submit as your own.
Concerns
If you believe a service has been misused, or that our work has been misrepresented, please contact us through the enquiry form on our contact page. We will investigate and may end engagements that breach this policy.
